Hi All, I like listening to Now Dead Formats but really Great sounding Formats. It is SACD and DVD-Audio Multi-Channel / Hi Rez music. I had bought a lot of these competing Formats and just love the immersion in music as it surrounds you with a Wall of sound. Now because of the lack of New MC Releases I have went underground. I now look for Old Quadraphonic Recordings that have been converted into DTS or DVD-Audio Format, by a dedicated bunch trying to preserve these recordings as most are dated Q8 and Q4 or Albums.. The Best Conversion to date was done by an unknown Engineer (insider)?? It was a Quadraphonic recording of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon with a .1 track added for Bass heads. But it was Never released in the US and was a VERY anticipated release in the 70's that never got released well not until 30 years Later. Altho for the DSOTM 30th anniversary they released a SACD version of the Album which sounds fine too it is just great to hear Both versions. It is really hard to say which i...Expand for more
